Electrical Engineering Internship

Main Responsibilities

• Able to work full-time in the office.
• Evaluate solar and storage technologies with respect to project goals, including modules, DC components, inverters, and medium voltage systems.
• Review and incorporate electrical studies, including ampacity, load flow, reactive power capability, short circuit, grounding, and arc flash.
• Develop electrical drawings, including determination of the impact of additional loads on the existing electric distribution system, securing permits and rights-of-way, and performing post-construction follow-up.
• Comprehend and analyze all documents related to electrical engineering (e.g., reports, specifications, and drawings) that are suitable to the solar rooftop standard of VN and IEC standards and installation method.
• Support manager to propose all documents related to electrical engineering that are suitable to the solar rooftop standard of VN and IEC standards and installation method.
• Perform load analysis for electric distribution substations and feeders.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and operations to control costs and improve productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the automation / electrical field, especially knowledge about digital technology and editing software packages.
• Bachelor’s degree in automation / electrical engineering.
• Take responsibility for completing tasks seriously with high dedication.
• Able to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently.
• Good knowledge in design such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, SketchUp, BIM, Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and solar systems such as PVSyst, Helioscope and Solargis.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, detail orientation, integrity, and a high sense of emergency.
• Good knowledge of HSE standards.
• Flexible and able to travel across Vietnam for projects.
