Project Manager – Solar Rooftop Installation Sector

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all the aspects of the solar projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
• Plan and schedule all the requirements, procurements and strategies, as well as set timelines for each criterion in the solar project executions.
• Calculate and evaluate the project budget, track expenses, and demonstrate cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Identify and monitor the effective resource allocation such as personnel, equipment and materials to reach the highest efficiency of project implementations.
• Correspond and engage project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, investors and authorized entities, up to date for each criterion of the timeline and adjustment during the project executions.
• Address and mitigate project uncertainties proactively, control consequences, and ultimately implement adjustments to avoid cost overruns and delays.
• Prioritize and enhance the quality standards of solar projects that satisfy the industrial conditions, regulatory standards and client expectations.
• Inform and report proactively to the senior managers about all the new updates, key milestones, procurements, hurdles and proposed solutions frequently.
• Assure and compromise the safety standards are strictly informed and followed by all project members throughout the project lifecycle, especially while on site.
• Recognize and seize the opportunities to develop solar projects, streamline workflows and foster the best project outcomes.

Requirements

• Engineering background, prefer automation/electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solar rooftop installation and 2 years in managing projects in the renewable energy sector.
• Able to communicate in English and Vietnamese.
• Required experience in Project management, design such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Sketch up and BIM, Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and solar systems such as PVSyst, Helioscope, Solargis).
• Project management technique.
• Good team player, people manager, goal setting, good communication, interpersonal skills, project management, detail orientation, high sense of emergency.
• Good knowledge of HSE standards.
• Flexible and able to travel across Vietnam for the project.
